The CCCamp venue has limited space. At first, we will sell tickets exclusively to people associated to local groups of CCC and other related groups.
Tickets can only be bought with a voucher.
For Camp, we don't send out vouchers to angels of previous events. If you worked a lot as an angel on past CCC events and you have no connection to a group which received vouchers, please reach out to the teams you worked with.
During the first phase of presale, we give vouchers to active parts of our community – membership itself is not a qualifier.
If a voucher is eligible for replication, we'll ask you for an email address during your ticket purchase. If your order is paid successfully, we'll send out the next voucher to that email address with the next batch (not immediately).
Please place a second order for your additional items. Please pay your orders in separate transactions to make processing easier.
We'd love to see you anyways. Please go to our friends page and briefly tell us why as well as how much you could pay for a ticket. We'll contact you back! Note that during the voucher phase, you also need a voucher for a friends application.
You can buy multiple tickets in one order, but need one voucher per ticket.
You can't preorder clothing items, sorry.
Chaos Communication Camp is a non-public community event: an intimate retreat for hackers from around the globe. As such, we do not offer press accreditation and ask attending hackers to respect the privacy of others.
Children under 12 in attendance of an adult get in for free – you don't need to get any ticket for them. For adolescents under the age of 18, we have Up-and-Coming tickets at a reduced price.
A single person officially accompanying a disabled person gets in for free. Only you will have to buy a ticket.
The difference is how much you're supporting Chaos Communication Camp to be as awesome as possible. With more supporters and a higher average ticket price, we can have better equipment, more cool equipment, and more support for people who couldn't afford the ticket otherwise.
That's not how Chaos Communication Camp works: All work is done by participants – people who have bought a ticket themselves.
Just go to https://tickets.events.ccc.de and enter the voucher code on the bottom of the page.
Nope.
We plan to sell all tickets online before the event. If we sell out, there will be not a single ticket sold on site, so make sure to grab yours now.
We accept wire transfers to our German bank account and credit cards via Stripe. Unfortunately we cannot accept any other form of payment like checks, bitcoin or cash.
Yes! We want to allow as many people as possible to come, so if you don't pay your ticket in time, we'll reassign it to someone else. Upon order completion we will show you the date by which we expect your payment. Please keep in mind that a wire transfer might take a few days and is only transferred on workdays.
We do not support the re-selling of tickets this year, due to the high amount of inflated prices and straight-up fraud going on. If you still want to hand off your ticket, please sell it for no more than you paid for it. You can give your order link or the ticket files to the buyer, as tickets are not personalized.
If you want to buy a ticket: Please make sure that you know and trust the seller, as they could just sell the ticket more than once. Please do not pay more than the initial ticket price.
Please contact us and tell us your correct transfer reason and what you wrote accidentally instead, as well as the name of the account owner the money comes from. Please DO NOT send a second transfer.
The payment status is updated often for wire transfers. As wire transfers may take a few days, please have a bit of patience. When your payment status is updated, you will receive an email. Credit card payments are processed almost instantly.
You can supply an invoice address for your order. If you ordered a business ticket you can download your invoice in the web shop immediately after completing your order. For all other tickets you can download your invoice together with your ticket. If you need something in addition, or you are unable to download your invoice, please contact us. Please keep in mind that according to German law, invoices with a total below €250 are valid without a recipient address, so we will not put one on there.
Please change your invoice address on the web interface, then contact us to reissue an updated invoice. Please keep in mind that according to German law, invoices with a total below €250 are valid without a recipient address, so we will not put one on there.
Reverse charge is not applicable. The place of performance is Mildenberg, Germany, thus we have to charge German VAT. You can retrieve your VAT via the VAT reimbursement process, ask your tax consultant for more information.
